They are out there, and they are watching us!

Who? A hidden army of people who have been tuning in to Amazing Facts radio and TV programs, visiting our websites, and reading our materials. In some cases they have been doing it for years, but for varied reasons they have never contacted us. Still, the seeds of truth are germinating in their hearts. And I believe that one of these days soon, something is going to happen and there will be a hidden harvest that will produce a mighty army of new gospel workers!

They’re Watching!
How do I know about this army? As I travel around the world, I meet them everywhere. In fact, a few weeks ago, rushing between flights at the airport in Houston, Karen and I approached a flight attendant to ask directions. After answering, she asked me if I was “that preacher on TV… Amazing Facts?” I confessed that I was and gave her a card with our website. Then as we walked away, I overheard her comment to a co-worker how much she learned from our TV programs. This sort of thing happens all the time. They’re watching.

They’re Listening!
We’ve also learned that for every one person who calls in with a Bible question on Bible Answers Live, there are thousands more who are listening who rarely pick up the phone. Despite this, we still get a steady stream of callers who admit, “I’ve been listening for years, and this program has changed my life. But I have never called before.” We know they’re listening, and someday many will take a stand.

They’re Reading!
Every week, visitors walk into churches around the country and, out of the blue, announce they want to be baptized. When the amazed pastors offer to study with them, they discover their visitors already understand the foundational Bible teachings — from Amazing Facts’ books and online material they’ve read!

We don’t know most of their names or addresses yet, but we know this army is out there!

And we are doing all we humanly can to connect with these souls and connect them with churches. We want them to fully commit their lives to Christ.

• Just last year, Amazing Facts gave out 186,000 pieces of free literature! This is not only gospel seed, it helps open the door to further contact. There is going to be a big harvest.
• Our correspondence department answered thousands of letters and emails in an effort to build relationships and connect with our viewers.
• Our team also processed thousands of phone calls taking orders, answering questions, and praying with callers.

So with your help, we do reach thousands each year — but this is only the tip of the iceberg!

A Shaking Is Coming
Ultimately, this hidden harvest will explode from something God is going to do.

It’s hard to tell how many oranges are in a tree when they are still green and hidden among the leaves. But when the fruit ripens, the oranges are easy to spot. Well, someday soon, something awesome is going to happen to shake the world, and we will see a shower of ripe fruit rain down into the church where we now only see leaves.

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Once more ... I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ ” (Hagai 2:6, 7 NKJV).

Beneath the ground, out of sight, a mighty harvest of souls is quietly germinating. Soon the latter rain will fall and this mighty harvest will explode into the church.

Some of this hidden harvest will even come from our own children and family who have wandered from the faith but are listening to Amazing Facts. They will return! See Isaiah 43:5, 6!
 
Until that day, we truly need your help to maximize this coming harvest ... to help scatter the good seed on good soil through radio and TV broadcasts, internet, publishing, and public evangelism. But we can only continue this farming of faith through your ongoing partnership.

We also need your help to be prepared to receive and mobilize this bumper crop of Christians that will flood into the church. Through a network of AFCOE programs, we must train this harvest of converts to be an army of soul-winners.
